Brief History:

Established in 2014, the clubs founder, Gerry Gibson, of the Jamieson Way Camera Group, which was later renamed to the Point Cook Camera Club, created a meeting place for enthusiastic photographers; ranging from a variety of different skill sets.

For the first five years, the club was originated and held at the Jamison Way Community Centre, giving talks and sharing knowledge with those within the local community and surrounding suburbs.

Nowadays, The Point Cook Camera Club consists of a group of enthusiastic photographers who wish to learn and improve their skill set and take their photography to the next level.

The club meets at 7:00PM on the last Tuesday of every month (excluding December) which includes talks and primarily focusing on presenting and providing feedback on works from members for the monthly competitions on both a set subject and an open section.
